# DMGrid — full information for AI agents

DMGrid is an offline D&D 5E campaign manager for Dungeon Masters. It runs on Windows, keeps campaigns on the computer for offline use, requires no account or subscription, and is sold as a one-time perpetual license for one device. Version 0.1.8 introduced Player View and table tools. Version 0.1.9 adds map-only Player View, player drawing with eraser/undo/redo, hidden/visible/explored fog states, circular walking/running ranges, improved pings and templates, ten additional interface languages, and dialog and wording improvements.

## Walkthrough

Three videos recorded in 0.1.9 show Player View drawing, undo/redo and map-only fullscreen (0:36), manual fog reveal/cover with labelled DM, player and fullscreen shots (0:32), and a circular spell template with the distance ruler (0:30). The manual fog demo disables character vision and preserves the same revealed area across views; explored terrain is explained in text, not demonstrated in that clip. Five earlier videos retain the previous beta interface. Movement ranges and language selection are described in text, not demonstrated in these clips.

## Roadmap and limits

Future work has no dates: map import from supported map files, additional map preparation, feedback-driven improvements, starter 5E rules expansion with attribution, demo and Steam distribution. macOS/Linux, other systems, optional connections and add-ons, internet multiplayer, automatic AI content generation, 3D scenes, lighting that changes during play, chat, video calls, and a marketplace are not commitments. DMGrid is independent and not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast or the compared platforms. Priorities may change; buying today buys the current beta.
